THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Thou shalt have no other God before me.
If you love God, you will not think of having another God apart from him.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything, thou shalt not bow thyself to them nor serve them.
You will definitely not think of making any graven image nor bow to them if you love God.
Thou shalt not take the name of the lord thy God in vain.
You will highly esteem the name of the one you love at all times and in all circumstances.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
It is obvious that one always longs to meet and remain with his or her loved ones
Honor thy father and thy mother.
For any child who loves his or her parents, honour accompanies this love naturally
Thou shalt not kill.
The thought of killing your neighbour will never cross your mind if you love him/her.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
You will agree with me that anyone who loves his/her husband or wife will not think of committing adultery with someone else.
Thou shalt not steal.
You will not steal from someone you truly love.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
No matter the reward you would have gotten, you will not testify falsely against a neighbour you love.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, wife, menservant, maidservant, ox, Ass.
If you love, your neighbour you will not desire uncontrollably his/her belonging. You will rather rejoice with him/her and believe God for yours.
Indeed love is the fulfilling of the law.
